At Red Moose we believe that style should be genuine and effortless. And that genuine craftsmanship is about the myriad little details that are hard to discern individually but come through collectively.

These shoes trees bring a cedar forest into your closet . The cedar scent lingers in the shoes given them a fresh smell. These are a pair of basic pair of shoe trees to keep your shoes straight and stretched lengthwise and not much beyond that. There are no clips, springs, or adjustment options meaning that one can only stretch the shoe lengthwise but not the toe box width at all.To use them one needs to push the toe portion of the device in and down followed by the heel. These are not smooth operating, meaning the fold back necessary to enter your shoes results in a bunching of the mechanism and in some cases the shoe. They don’t slide easily and require some force/energy when inserting them.In my opinion a shoe tree helps when pushing in and down for the heel of the mechanism to clear. As a basic, simple tree at a low cost-they will be sufficient. Was this helpful?

Let me start by admitting that I have a huge weakness for shoes. My wife will tell you that I have way too many of them. All my leather shoes have cedar shoe trees in them so I am very familiar with the completion out there. This particular one is interesting. It has the Cedar smell but I can not tell if it is genuine. They seem to be infused with something as the box had wet spots from the excess material. I had to wipe them off a bit before using them. Most importantly, the vendor needs a proper size chart for this product. Although I typically use Medium for my US 10 or 10.5 (pictured) dress shoes I did go for the Large size based on the pictures from another review. Large fit my purposes well but if you have larger shoes you may not get the tension you need for removing creases.I also found the heels a bit thinner than I like. Considering I ordered large I would like to be a bit wider/fuller.I think there is better value out there especially If you buy a pack of 6.Was this helpful?

I bought these for my husband. At first glance, I like the art on the box and the red moose logo is pretty cool. The listing does not provide a size chart, but I'm lucky somebody else reviewed and measured the medium size so I could determine that he needed a large. They feel somewhat cheaper than the pair of Stratton's he has but they seem to do the same job. The only problem he has found is the spring on the left shoe wants to catch sometimes when he's trying to close it. I would say these are a pretty good deal if you are wanting some shoe trees but do not want to spend $30 to $40 on the high-dollar ones. I would definitely recommend these! Was this helpful?

I recently found out that shoe trees help remove the crease in leather shoes that come with wearing them. As a bonus the cedar helps with smell. These are wider than I thought they would be but they seem to fit in my shoes well. Pictured are size 8 shoes, and size 7 boots. They are spring loaded, and the spring is very heavy so compressing these to get in my boots was a bit of a struggle. The good news is they smooth out the creases in both of them very wellI don't like that sizing isn't explained more thoroughly on these but I measured out the full extended length of one of mine to give you a rough estimated on whether medium will fit your shoes or if you need one of the larger sizes. Was this helpful?

Hadn't even given shoe trees a thought in about 30 years. These are great and I rotate them through each pair I wear. Will have to get more soon. Was this helpful?
