A complete novice's 5 star experience.
Do I know what I'm doing? No. Have I ever taken care of white leather before? Also no. Did I exhibit any semblance of care while applying this polish? Absolutely not. But; the results are far better than I'd hoped for.I've owned these Ugg Pismos for approximately two years now, and they've been through it all. Hikes, walks, snow, rain, extreme heat and sun, the gym, various offices, the floor in my friend's absolutely filthy car, you name it. Over time, my shoes went from looking "lived in" to "radioactive", and for once, I wanted to try and fix that fact.I'm pretty hard on shoes, and I generally wear black Vans since they're cheap, hide dirt, and can take a beating. I bought these white Pismos two years ago just for a simple "pop of something different" in my wardrobe, expecting them to stay clean (I can't fathom why I had such high hopes for that), and they clearly didn't, in partial thanks to being a soft, textured leather (I believe these shoes are corrected grain leather, but I'm not positive).While my application isn't perfect, my shoes went from "oh god, you live like this?" to "yeah that looks about normal for two years of casual wear and occasional care".The thing is, I didn't wanna give up on my sweet kicks since they're so comfortable and stylish, but after multiple failures with vinegar, specialty soaps, white Dove bar soap, and conditioners, I knew it was time to break out something that would cover the years of hard wear, instead of trying to remove irreparable…
